Where is the Dental Branch located?

The Dental Branch building is located on the corner of Moursund St. and M.D. Anderson Blvd. in the Texas Medical Center.  The main thoroughfares leading into the Texas Medical Center are Holcombe Blvd. traveling east/west and Fannin St. or Main St. traveling north/south.  The actual street address of the Dental Branch is 6515 M.D. Anderson Blvd.  The public entrance to the building is on M.D. Anderson Blvd., and there ia a circular drive for drop off and pick up.  There is also access for the disabled from the circular drive.  A detailed map can be found at http://www.tmc.edu/maps/map-tmc-04.html.

Our main telephone number is 713.500.4000.  This number provides many options, including a dial by name option to reach faculty and staff and an option for making patient appointments.

What are the building hours?

The Dental Branch is open to the public from 7:30 A.M.-6:00 P.M. Monday through Friday.  After hours access is via key card.

Is there food service in the Dental Branch?

Although there is no food service in the building, we are next door to the J. P. McGovern Texas Medical Center Commons, which houses nine restaurants and offers indoor and outdoor seating. The cafeteria in the basement of the Dental Branch building has tables, vending machines and microwaves.

Is there a library in the Dental Branch?
