How it works:

Please note that a reservation is not necessary when you are leaving from the airport. However, many people prefer to make reservations in advance to avoid the time and hassle of paying on-board the van with cash or credit card.

Whether you have a reservation or not, please see below for a description of how the SuperShuttle service works from the airport.

In some cities, you will find a SuperShuttle ticket counter inside the airport; in others, a member of their staff will be standing curbside to assist you. In either case, the process is simple:

• Once you have your luggage, tell the counter or curbside representative where you're headed
• The representative will enter you into our system and you will be routed with others headed in your direction
• The next available blue and yellow van will be dispatched from their "holding lot" at the airport.
• The process of routing and the van driving to the airport from the holding lot generally takes a short time. This time varies depending on how many people are going to your part of the city, and on airport traffic.
• As soon as the van arrives at the curb, you and other passengers will be promptly boarded, and you'll be on your way!
• IAH - After you claim you luggage, proceed to one of the SuperShuttle ticket counters, which are located at terminals A, B, C, and D, at the lower level baggage claim area. Students estimated cost to Rice $27.00.
• HOU - After you claim your luggage, proceed to the SuperShuttle ticket counter, which is located inside the baggage claim area on the lower level. Students estimated costs to Rice $23.00.
