The UT Dental Branch at Houston kicked up its heels, celebrating
Go Texan Day in high-style on Friday, Feb. 24, with cake,
punch and country music tunes. The celebration came to a close
after a drawing for country music CDs, lunches at Luther’s
Barbecue and gift certificates to Cavender’s western
wear.
Winners were: Luther’s gift certificates: Rodney Beetar,
D.D.S., professor in the department of Prosthodontics and
Lynette Lewis, administrative services officer III in the
dean’s office.
Country music CDs (Rascal Flatts and Trisha Yearwood) went
to Olivia Hartzog, senior support specialist in Restorative
Dentistry and Darla McKitrick, assistant professor of Dental
Hygiene. John O’Black, director of Instructional Media,
walked away with a gift certificate to Cavenders.
Many thanks go to Dental Branch employees Kathleen Kuznicki,
Brian Schnupp, John O’Black, Joe Morrow and Staci Garner,
who all helped plan this fun and festive event. See photos
