Rick Bebermeyer, D.D.S., professor of Restorative Dentistry
and Lisa Thomas, D.D.S., associate professor in Diagnostic
Sciences, recently published “Guidelines for Infection
Control in Dental Health Care Settings: A Review of Current
Resources.” The paper was published in Acta Stomatologica
Naissi, the official publication of the University of Nis,
located in Serbia.
The article was written in English, but was translated to
Serbian by Rade Paravina, D.D.S., Ph.D., instructor in Oral
Biomaterials. Paravina, who is from Serbia, felt that sharing
information regarding standards in dental practice with this
part of the world was important. It also shows a willingness
to share information with other professionals around the world.
