Sudarat Kiat-amnuay, D.D.S., assistant professor of Restorative Dentistry,  received a grandfathering status as a certified clinical anaplastologist from the Board Certification in Clinical Anaplastology (BCCA).

Anaplastology is the art and science of restoring a malformed or absent part of the human body through artificial means. An anaplastologist makes prosthetic devices.

The BCCA's grandfathering process was used to identify individuals that demonstrate competency based on prior credentials alone. These individuals would serve as subject matter experts for the field of anaplastology during the certification program development phase. These individuals have demonstrated a high level of achievement in the areas of education, clinical experience, publications in scientific journals, presentations at national meetings and length of service in the field of anaplastology.

Kiat-amnuay is also a fellow of the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics.
