A New Year for the UTDBeflash

Since 2004 the UTDBeflash has provided weekly news about the events, people and policies that are important to the UT Dental Branch family. Today marks the start of another exciting year for this publication.

Dr. Sudarat Kiat-Amnuay on Channel 11

The research of Sudarat Kiat-Amnuay, D.D.S., M.S., assistant professor in Restorative Dentistry, was featured on KHOU Channel 11 Tuesday, Jan. 2. Kiat-Amnuay is using her research on chlorinated polyethylene elastomer (CPE) to change the lives of patients who need extraoral facial prostheses. Certified peridontists among us

Andrew Moore, D.D.S., clinical assistant professor in Periodontics, along with  Lillian Lyons, D.D.S. and Karen Luce, D.D.S., 2005 graduates of the Advanced Education Program, successfully completed the oral examination of the American Board of Periodontology. They are now board certified in periodontics. Congratulations to Drs. Moore, Lyons and Luce.
