All UTHealth employees, including faculty, staff, casual and student employees, are required to take compliance training in February. Happily, the training doesn't have to be boring.
To whet your appetite for juicy compliance topics, SitComm Productions has created a series of short videos that are not to be missed. Episodes One and Episode Two have already been posted on the UTHealth Intranet, and the next episodes are now in production.
State and federal laws require UTHealth to ensure that 100 percent of its employees complete compliance training on a variety of topics. When we don't complete this training within the given timeframe, we put UTHealth at risk for fines and other sanctions, which eventually affect us all.
As in the past, the training is offered online through the university’s Training Resource Center (TRC). The training takes approximately two and a half hours to complete. Use Internet Explorer as your browser.
This UTHealth Annual Mandatory Compliance Training has been approved by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy for one hour of Ethics CPE. To inquire about receiving credit, contact firstname.lastname@example.org after you complete the training online.
