Three Carus owner-doctors who are graduates of UT School of Dentistry (from left) are Candy Rodriguez, DDS ’06; Chip Silvertooth, DDS ’98; and Cathy Tran, DDS ’01.
Carus Dental, a large multi-office dental practice, recently endowed a new scholarship for dental hygiene students at The University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston.
The scholarship, to be awarded on academic merit, complements the scholarship for dental students Carus endowed in 2008. Five UTSD dental alumni currently work at Carus, including general dentists Candy Rodriguez, DDS ’06; Chip Silvertooth, DDS ’98; Cathy Tran, DDS ’01; Michael Jacques, DDS ’04 and oral surgeon Kacey Howell, DDS ’06.
Carus has also funded scholarships at The University of Texas Dental School at San Antonio and Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas.
