Dr. Sudarat is a 1994 graduate of Khon Kaen University, Thailand, and a 1999 graduate (MS) of the University of Louisville in prosthodontics. She also received a certificate in Maxillofacial Prosthetics from the UT M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and the American Board of Clinical Anaplastology. She holds academic appointments as an Associate Professor with both the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston and UT MD Anderson, has received numerous teaching and research awards, and is the author of over 60 publications in the dental literature. She is a fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics, the International Congress of Oral Implantologist, and International Academy of Oral Oncology. She has been with the program since July 2002. |

Steven Vaughan, D.D.S.

Dr. Steven Vaughan received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Rice University in 2000. He is a 2004 graduate from The University of Texas Health Sciences Center Dental School in San Antonio, Texas. He completed a one-year Advanced General Dentistry Residency at the VA Medical Center in San Antonio. He works full time in private practice, and has served as a part-time faculty for the GPR program since 2005. Dr. Vaughan is a member of the Greater Houston Dental Society and the American Dental Association. |

A. Lutonsky, DDS

Dr. Lutonsky
is a 1997 graduate of the University of Texas Dental
School - San Antonio and received a certificate
in Prosthodontics also from the University of Texas
Dental School - San Antonio. Dr. Lutonsky is in
private practice in The Woodlands, Texas specializing
in all phases of prosthodontics and teaches in the
program one day per week. He is a published author
and lectures in the Houston metroplex on various
phases of implant therapy. Dr. Lutonsky has been
with the program since 2003. |

Kyle McCrea, DDS

Dr. McCrea
is a 1990 graduate of the University of Texas Health
Science Center at San Antonio Dental School and
Branch in Houston and completed the University of
Texas Dental Branch General Practice Residency in
1991. He is currently in a private practice in Richmond,
Texas specializing in general dentistry. His special
talents in practice management and treatment planning
have been an invaluable aid to residents as well
as his advice on becoming an associate in an active
dental practice.

James Lloyd, DDS

Dr. Lloyd is
a 1992 graduate of the University of Texas Dental
Branch at Houston. He has been an Adjunct Professor
in the AEGD since 1998 and maintains a private practice
specializing in general dentistry in Houston, Texas.
He is very well informed on all aspects of general
dentistry and is particularly effective in increasing
resident efficiency relative to the expectations
of private practice. He is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologist. |

Dr. Michael Chan is a 1997 graduate from The University of Texas Health Sciences Center Dental School in San Antonio, Texas. He completed a two-year General Practice Residency at Memorial Hermann Hospital. He works full-time in private practice, and serves as a part-time faculty for the GPR program since 1997. Dr. Chan is a Fellow of the American Academy of Hospital Dentists and Diplomat of the American Board of Special Care Dentistry. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and American Association of Cosmetic Dentists. |

Dr. Lan received her Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin in 1993. She is a 1998 graduate from The University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Lan completed a two – year General Practice Residency at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut and received her certificates in 1999 and 2000. She practiced as a general dentist form 2000-2005. In 2008, Dr. Lan received her degree (MS) in Periodontics from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston, Texas. Currently, Dr. Lan is in private practice where she specializes in Periodontics and Implant dentistry. Dr. Lan is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, Greater Houston Society of Periodontists, and Southwest Society of Periodontists. She has been with the program since September 2008. |

Currently, Dr. Tran is in private practice where she specializes in Periodontics and Implant dentistry.
