Pediatric Dentistry

The Department of Pediatric Dentistry at The University of Texas School of Dentistry is concerned with childhood growth and development, causes of disease and prevention, child psychology, and highly-specialized techniques specific to the treatment of children. The department is committed to teaching students and residents how to deal specifically with children, concentrating on their particular issues and using a variety of techniques for easing children's fears and improving communication.
