Dr. Quynh Tan has been an Assistant Clinical Professor with the Department of Pediatric Dentistry since 2008. Dr. Tan oversees the orthodontic component of the curriculum of the graduate program. She is provides didactic lectures, literature review and clinical orthodontic experience to the residents.
Dr. Tan obtained her Bachelors of Science from McGill University (1996) and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto (2002). She subsequently completed her Masters of Science in Clinical Investigation and Orthodontic Residency from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Tan is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Tan maintains an orthodontic practice in Sugar Land, Texas.
Dr. Tan’s areas of interests include dento-facial aesthetics, impacted canines, orthognathic surgical cases, and evidence-based orthodontics.
