Yasmine Haddad received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Houston and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. She received her Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in Cancer Biology then she completed her postdoctoral training at Baylor College of Medicine.
Yasmine Haddad is an elected member in the OKU National Dental Honor Society and a member in the International/American Association of Dental Research. She is also a member in the American Dental Education Association and UTDB Alumni Association.
Yasmine Haddad’s main research interest includes a clinical research focused on determining the prevalence of the premalignant lesions (Leukoplakia, Erythroplakia, and Speckled Leukoplakia) in patients institutionalized at the UT-SOD at Houston. The main objective of this research is to improve the differential diagnosis and achieve earlier detection of the oral squamous cell carcinoma for the patients admitted to the UT-SOD at Houston.
