• 11/20/2009 UTHSC-H Research Day 2009: ““Engines of Discovery” at the Fayez S. Sarofim Research Building of The Brown Foundation Institute of Molecular Medicine for the Prevention of Human Diseases. The event will include a faculty seminar followed by student and postdoctoral poster presentations. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the session.

Potential students are invited to this free information session hosted by the School of Dental Hygiene. Parking is available in Texas Medical Center Garage 6 for a maximum of $12. • 12/11/2009 Stake-Out the Dental Branch Replacement Building! Join us from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the site of the new Dental Branch building, 7500 Cambridge St. (behind Kroger on Old Spanish Trail) to celebrate the start of construction. Be part of a unique photo opportunity as students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends line up around stakes outlining the shape of the new building. Free bus transportation provided from the current building to the site and back. Enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres, wassail and other refreshments at the site.
