A continuing education course for dentists and allied dental personnel. This course is designed to familiarize doctors with a much more conservative approach for replacing amalgam restorations, rather than a full coverage crown. The hands-on portion will involve preparing indirect inlays and onlays or an inlay/onlay fiber-reinforced bridge on typodonts using the All-Purpose Esthetic Logic diamond bur set. Provisionals will be fabricated with temporary crown and bridge material and cemented as the final restoration with composite resin cement. Also offered, "Direct Anterior Composites: Applying the Techniques for the Newer Generation of Composites: A Hands-On Experience." Presented by Mitch A. Conditt, DDS, clinical instructor at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. COURSE NUMBER: 20122350. CREDIT HOURS: 3 lecture, 4 participation.
