Purpose
as stated in the UTDB Bylaws
"The purpose of this committee, which shall be charged by
the Senate, shall be to coordinate the student advisory system."
Committee Charge
- Develop policies governing the duties and responsibilities
of Academic Advisors
- Develop and/or improve mechanisms to ensure maximal efficiency
of the advisor system
- Review the Advisors Handbook annually
- Develop a system for training faculty as academic advisors
