Curriculum Committee

          Purpose as stated in the UTDB Bylaws

"The purpose of this committee, which shall be charged by the Senate, shall be to review and coordinate all aspects of the curriculum, to make recommendations to the Senate when appropriate, and to monitor and ensure the quality of educational programs."

Committee Charge
  • Ensure the excellence of the academic standards of the Dental Branch Predoctoral educational programs
  • Coordinate and evaluate the development and improvement of the Dental Branch Predoctoral didactic and clinical curriculum
  • Ensure the curriculum is in compliance with local, state and national standards
  • Review instructional instruments and teaching resources
  • Make recommendations to improve student performance on National Board Exams and Licensing Board Exams
