"The purpose of this committee, which shall be charged by the Senate, shall be to coordinate and conduct evaluation of the educational programs offered at the Dental Branch and the effectiveness of the faculty and administration. This Committee shall report to the Dean and the Senate. The Committee shall also evaluate faculty nominees for Faculty Awards and make recommendations to the Dean."

Committee Charge

• Ensure appropriate methods of evaluation are available and implemented for all educational programs offered at the Dental Branch
• Ensure appropriate methods of evaluation of faculty and administrators are available and administered
• Communicate with the Chairs of the Appointment, Promotion and Tenure; Curriculum, and Ad Hoc Merit Review Committees to coordinate guidelines to prevent or reduce duplication of efforts and to develop evaluations suitable for use by each and all groups
• Evaluate faculty nominees for faculty awards and/or special recognition, and make recommendations to the Dean
