Faculty Development Committee

Purpose
as stated in the UTDB Bylaws
"The purpose of this committee, which shall be charged by
the Senate, shall be to enhance development of Dental Branch faculty
by identifying and/or establishing development opportunities.
It shall also solicit, review and nominate faculty for development
leave."
Committee Charge
- Evaluate faculty proposals for development leave and forward
recommendations to the Dean.
- Assist in identifying faculty development opportunities and
developing faculty training programs.
- Assist in identifying and implementing faculty development
courses.
