Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement Committee Charge
- Establish procedures for objectively and systematically evaluating
the quality and appropriateness of care and service provided
in the Dental Branch clinics.
- Determine the cause(s) of care and/or service deficiencies
when they are identified and make recommendations for improvement.
- Perform reviews of various clinical areas to identify strengths
and weaknesses in quality of care. Make recommendations
for correction of weaknesses and how strengths may be extended
to other areas.
- Evaluate dental chart audit procedures and make recommendations.
- Evaluate patient exit interview procedures and make recommendations.
