Purpose as stated in the UTDB Bylaws

The purpose of this committee, which shall be charged by the Senate and reports to the Dean, shall be to recruit applicants for dental school, to evaluate the credentials and qualifications of these applicants, to recommend to the Dean those applicants best suited for the study of dentistry, and to encourage them to enroll as pre-doctoral students at the Dental Branch.

Committee Structure

• The Ex Officio member of the Committee is the Associate Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs.
• The Student Members include one representative from the 4th Year class, one representative from the 3rd Year Dental class and one representative from the 2nd Year Dental class
