1. Interim Program Director - Once again, it gives me great pleasure to announce that Dr. Robert Mayhew will be assuming the role of Interim Program Director for the GPR, while he continues his duties as Program Director of the AEGD. Dr. Mayhew and myself will be closely working together in the coming weeks and beyond to ensure a smooth transition and that all needs are met for the resident year.
   


2. Resident Seminars - There will be no resident seminar on November 15th. Dr. Wesley's seminar has been rescheduled to November 29th, while Dr. Jain's has been postponed to early December.
   


3. Table Clinic / Research Paper topics - Topic due dates for both have been moved to Friday, November 3rd. Once all topics are submitted, residents will be assigned to faculty mentors in the coming weeks.
   


4. Implant Board - Please take note that the Implant Board has been moved to noon hours to avoid conflict with the Graduate Implant course. Times and dates for the board are included in the Mega Schedule for your reference.
   


5. Resident Interviews - We have received a tremendous number of applicants for the coming year. Interviews will be conducted on four dates: Monday, November 20th and 28th, and Friday December 1st and 8th. All residents, both on clinic and off-service rotations are to participate in the interview process as greeters, interviewers, presenters and tour guides. More specific details regarding those interview dates are forthcoming.
   


6. Entering Charges to EPR - Once again, I must emphasize to all that every appointment must be accompanied by a treatment code, even if it is an 'Administrative' code. We are still seeing a high volume of appointments that have not been charged out. Please ensure that the codes correspond exactly to the date of the appointment / treatment.
