Description: The University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston invites applicants with an advanced education certificate in Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology to apply for a part-time, 0.6 FTE clinical educator track position in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences. The appointment is expected to be at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Responsibilities include: undergraduate and graduate teaching of Oral Pathology topics (including clinical oral pathology, differential diagnosis and oral surgical pathology); participation in the school’s biopsy service; and research. Position: The position of Chair, Department of Endodontics

Description: The University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston is seeking nominations and applications for the position of Chair, Department of Endodontics. The Department of Endodontics has both predoctoral and postdoctoral graduate endodontic programs. The Chair of the Department is responsible for directing the teaching mission at the predoctoral and postdoctoral levels, as well as the development and guidance of research and scholarly activity by residents and faculty within the department. A record of research productivity and external research funding, or the promise of future research funding, is highly desirable. Demonstration of leadership in all of these areas of responsibility is required. Candidates must have a DDS/DMD degree and must have completed postgraduate education in endodontics in a program recognized by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association. The candidate must be Board-certified or Board-eligible by the American Board of Endodontics. This is a full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor. Excellent research development packages are available to those who qualify.

Description: The University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston invites applicants for two salaried 0.5 to 0.6 FTE part-time faculty positions in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials. Applicants must have a DDS/DMD degree with prior teaching experience preferred and/or private practice experience. Responsibilities include preclinical and/or clinical teaching to undergraduate dental students. Position: Full-time tenure or clinical educator track position in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials at the Assistant or Associate Professor level
Description: The University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston seeks applicants for a full-time tenure or clinical educator track position in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.  Applicants must have a DDS/DMD degree with prior teaching and/or private practice experience and be eligible for dental licensure in the state of Texas.  Responsibilities include preclinical and clinical teaching to undergraduate dental students, research and service.  Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated interest/expertise/experience in dental anatomy, operative dentistry, esthetic dentistry and dental materials science.  The position is available July 1, 2008.  Academic rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.  The Dental Branch is located in the heart of the Texas Medical Center which offers significant resources and important opportunities for collaboration and advanced training.
