Position: Full-Time (1.0 FTE) non-tenure track Faculty Position at the academic rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences

Description: The University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston invites application for a full-time 1.0 FTE non-tenure track position, available immediately, at the academic rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Sciences. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated interest/expertise/experience in oral radiology and treatment planning. Applicants must have a DDS/DMD degree with prior teaching and/or private practice experience and be eligible for dental licensure in the state of Texas. Responsibilities include clinical and didactic teaching in assessment, treatment planning and oral radiology. Participation in the faculty practice is available; scholarly activity and academic service are expected. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Position: Full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor level

Description: The Department of Orthodontics at The University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston seeks applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor level. Applicants must have an Orthodontic certificate/MS, or a Ph.D. in the area of Craniofacial Biology. Priority will be given to applicants with experience in research administration, a track record of funding, and be recognized for contributions in orthodontically relevant research or 3D imaging. Experience in supervising research of predoctoral dental students, postdoctoral residents and postgraduate doctoral candidates is highly desirable. Teaching responsibilities will include human growth and development, cell biology, as well as research methodology to predoctoral and postdoctoral students.
