The service offers fixation, processing, decalcification, cutting, mounting and staining of both hard and soft tissues.  Our laboratory has extensive experience in tooth and bone processing and staining.  We will work with you to help in planning and executing your research project.  You are encouraged to call to discuss your needs.

The fee for service schedule does not include labor for Dental Branch researchers.  We can accommodate small projects quickly; larger and ongoing projects are on a first come, first served basis. The equipment available in the facility include an automatic processor, embedding center, vacuum ovens, mounting bath/hotplate, microtome, and staining set up.
