Thus, trying to find one or more desired resources from this large collection using simple, free-text searching is usually very inefficient and often virtually impossible. Thus, it is necessary to develop an expanded "Discovery Infrastructure" that provides advanced search capabilities which allow users to created focused searches in a variety of ways.
