A student dentist uses an intraoral camera to educate his patient about her oral health. The intraoral camera is one of many technical advances in use in dental clinics worldwide.

A student is busy in the Learning Resources Center using the Blackboard course management program. Blackboard allows faculty and students to interact electronically and is a valuable adjunct to classroom and laboratory instruction.

Participating in research is an option available to all students. The Dental Branch faculty and students focus on the craniofacial structures--from their development, to genetic abnormalities, from diseases to their cures.
