Purpose:
The Summer Enrichment Program is designed to introduce college students
to the dental school environment and curriculum and to prepare student
for the application/interview process.
The participants will have the opportunity to:
- Participate in a unique academic program similar to dental school;
- Enhance interview skills using simulated interview with faculty;
- Improve study skills and test-taking skills
- Interact with Dental Branch faculty and student mentors;
- Participate in a Kaplan DAT preparation course;
Eligibility:
To be eligible for consideration as a participant, a candidate must
be:
- A sophomore or junior at the time of application;
- Have an overall GPA of 3.0;
- Have completed at least 12 hours in a science discipline; and
- Have completed at least 4 hours of Organic Chemistry;
